Seasoned White Beans

  1. Boil
  2. salt
  3. pork
  4. and set aside.
  5. Reserve some of water from pork
  6. to
  7. add
  8. to
  9. beans.
  10. Place beans in pot with water, about 2 to 3-inches above beans.
  11. Boil until beans get to be a little tender; remove beans from fire.
  12. Drain and rinse beans. Into empty pot, add cooking oil and saute onions, celery, bell peppertnd garlic;
  13. add cubed salt pork and smother a little while.
  14. To this,
  15. addteans
  16. and
  17. some
  18. of
  19. water from pork. Continue cooking
  20. and
  21. adding water until desired creaminess. Add
  22. onion tops
  23. and
  24. parsley.
  25. Should
  26. cook for half hour or more.
