Sticky Rice Wrapped In Lotus Leaf
- half lotus leaf
- 125g sticky rice
- 2 chicken legs
- one and a half Cantonese style sausages
- 3 dried mushrooms
- some goji berries
- 2tsp light soy sauce
- 1tsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp cooking wine(optional)
- and half tsp salt
- soak sticky rice in water for 6 hours
- soak dried mushrooms in water for 1 hour
- cut the sausages on the bias
- remove skin and bones of chicken legs
- cut chicken in pieces and add 2 tsp light soy sauce, 1tsp dark soy sauce, 2tsp sesame oil, 2tsp cooking wine and half tsp salt in chicken and marinate
- slice mushrooms
- Cut the lotus leaf in half and use hot water to clean the leaf
- lay the lotus leaf in steamer, add sticky rice, sausages, chicken, mushrooms and goji berries on the leaf and wrap it
- steam for one hour
