Blackberry Jalapeno Bbq St.Louis Spare Ribs

  1. 1. Skin back of ribs & liberally season ribs on both sides with rib rub
  2. 2. In char coal grill, bank hot coals on both sides of the fire grate or to one side & heat to 250 degrees (for gas grills, preheat & then turn off any burners directly below where the food will go)
  3. 3. Place racks on grate bone side down & cover
  4. 4. After 2-3 hours remove ribs & brush with blackberry BBQ sauce
  5. 5. Place back in grill for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until tender
  6. 1. Remove from grill & brush again with bbq sauce & serve
