Apple Cheese Bread Pudding

  1. Combine cream, eggs, applesauce, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.
  2. Lightly toss bread, cheese and nuts.
  3. Place bread and cheese mixture in buttered 2-quart casserole.
  4. Pour cream mixture over bread mixture.
  5. Cover and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes or until bread is completely saturated.
  6. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  7. Bake uncovered 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool at least 30 minutes before serving.
