Pasta E Fagioli(Macaroni And Beans)

  1. In hot oil in 5-quart Dutch oven or heavy kettle, saute garlic and onion, stirring, until golden, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add tomatoes, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, oregano and parsley.
  3. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
  4. Mash tomatoes.
