Hash Brown Potato Cassarole

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt 1/4 cup of margarine.
  3. Combine salt, ground black pepper, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheese, chopped onion, melted margarine and sour cream in large mixing bowl
  4. Fold in the hash brown potatoes.
  5. Pour mixture into 9x13" baking dish.
  6. Place in pre-heated oven and bake until done (approximately 45 minutes)
  7. Instructions for optional topping
  8. Crush the 2 cups of corn flakes using rolling pin or manually in ziploc bag
  9. Melt 1/4 cup of margarine
  10. Combine corn flakes and margarine in mixing bowl
  11. Spread topping on dish before baking
