Shahi Tudka
- White bread slices: 3-4
- Full cream milk - 500 ml
- Almonds - 1 tablespoon
- Khajoor (dry dates) - 4-5 nos.
- Cashew Nuts - 1 tablespoon
- Raisins - 1 tablespoon
- Cardamom - 4 nos.
- Kesar (saffron) - 15-20 petals
- Sugar - 200 gm
- Olive Oil - for greasing bread
- Cut the bread into 4 pieces and arrange them into baking tray.
- Brush the bread pieces with Olive Oil and put them in preheated temperature of 160 degree Celsius for 10 min.
- Take the baking tray and turn all bread pieces and put them back in oven for another 5-7 min.
- Cut all dry fruits into small pieces.
- Put milk on medium flame and let it boil and thicken at low flame for 45 min.
- Now add all dry fruits and kesar and let it simmer for another 15 min.
- Now grind sugar with cardamom in mixer grinder and add the sugar flavoured with cardamom right in the end, before you shut down the flame.
- Now pour the thick milk with dry fruits over baked bread pieces and bake it again at 180 degree Celsius for 10-15 min till all milk has almost dried out.
- Serve your hot shahi tudka.
