Picnic Bean Dish
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of tomato soup
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can wax beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can chili beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- In a large pan (suitable for stovetop and oven), brown the ground chuck, then drain the excess fat.
- Add the onion and celery.
- Cook until tender.
- Stir in soup, tomato paste and catsup and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Add all remaining ingredients and stir well.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for about 1 hour.
- Makes approximately 25 servings.
