Cheeseburger Pie
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 8 slices American cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- chopped tomato
- shredded lettuce
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- Bake pie shell for 8 minutes; remove from oven.
- Reduce oven to 350u0b0.
- In skillet, brown meat; pour off fat.
- Add tomato sauce, green pepper, onion and bouillon; cook until bouillon dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in eggs, flour and 6 cheese slices, broken.
- Pour into shell.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
- Arrange remaining cheese on top.
- Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Garnish with tomatoes and lettuce.
