Monkey Bread Egg Bake

  1. Remember that this is an OVERNIGHT bake. Can you make and bake it the morning of? Of course. However, the dish works and tastes best if you create it the day before you bake it.The first thing you want to do it spray your bake ware dish with cooking spray. Set that aside as you get your 2 cans of dough. With each one, unroll the dough into a large rectangle. I usually just place it right on a cookie sheet. Proceed to slice the dough into 3 rows one way, and 8 rows another way. This will make 48 pieces of dough total. Take each piece and roll it into a ball.
  2. Set aside the dough. Then in large bowl, mix your eggs and milk with wire whisk until smooth. Once your egg mixture is whisked well, add in your dough pieces. Then gently add in your spinach, tomatoes, bacon, and most of the cheese. Very gently stir all the ingredients together. Make sure the ingredients combine together.
  3. Then spoon out the dough pieces into a single layer into your bake ware. Depending how big or small your bake ware is, you may have egg mixture leftover. It's up to you if you pour that into the dish. If you do, please cook the Egg Bake a bit longer than I recommend. Add the rest of your cheddar cheese on top of the dish.
