Mushroom Peas Puloa

  1. Wash & soak rice for 15 minute & drain it.
  2. Grind the grinding ingredients into fine paste & keep it aside.
  3. In a Pan, add 1tsp of ghee & fry soaked rice for few seconds and keep it aside.
  4. In same pan, Pour Oil & Ghee then add seasoning Ingredient.
  5. After few seconds, add Onion and Saute till it turns golden brown color.
  6. Add the ground paste with turmeric powder & fry till raw smell disappear & oil leaves the mixture.
  7. Then add chopped mushroom & peas with tomato & saute for 5 ~ 7 minutes.
  8. Now add fried rice, 2 cups of water & salt.
  9. Mix well & adjust the salt to taste.
  10. When mixture starts to boil vigorously, Cover with lid & reduce the heat to low.
  11. Cook for another 10 minutes & turns off the heat.
  12. Mix gently & serve hot with spicy gravy or any Raita.
