Chocolate Cherry Turnovers

  1. HEAT oven to 400u0b0F. Line 15 x 10-inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Coat with no-stick cooking spray.
  2. PREPARE recipe for double crust pie. Divide in half. Roll each half to 1/16-inch thickness. Cut four 5 1/4-inch circles from each half, rerolling dough as needed.
  3. STIR together preserves and cornstarch in small bowl. Spoon about 1 tablespoon in center of each dough circle. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon chocolate chips. Moisten edges with water. Fold in half over filling. Press with fork to seal. Place on prepared baking sheet. Prick tops with fork to allow steam to escape.
  4. BAKE 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
