Almond And Strawberry French Toast Bake
- 2 Slices of bread
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Natvia
- 1/2 teaspoon vanila extract
- 1 tablespoon almond extract
- 3 large strawberries, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds for garnish
- Preheat oven to 165 degrees.
- Greese a Ramekin or small baking dish with coconut oil.
- In a shallow plate, whisk together almond milk, egg whites, natvia and vanilla - set this aside.
- Spread almond butter over one slice of bread, then cut each slice of bread into 6 rectangular pieces.
- If you really like almond butter, feel free to spread it over both slices of bread.
- Place pieces into egg mixture and let soak for 5 minutes for the bread without almond butter flip halfway through to soak the other side.
- Layer bread into Ramiken in a vertical position. Wedge sliced strawberries between bread pieces and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake for around 15 minumtes, or until the egg is cooked through, serve immediately.
