Louisiana'S Bounty
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1 tsp. red pepper
- 1 pt. white crabmeat
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- 1 c. sharp cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. cracker or bread crumbs
- Melt cream cheese and butter in microwave on 1/2 power.
- Saute shrimp, onion, pepper and celery in 2 tablespoons butter.
- Add to the first mixture.
- Add soup, mushrooms seasonings, crabmeat and rice.
- Mix well.
- Place in 2 quart casserole dish and top with cheese and cracker crumbs.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
- Freezes well.
- Makes 8 servings.
