Belgian Waffle Cookies

  1. Soften butter in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add brown and white sugar and mix until smooth.
  3. Slowly add the eggs, one at a time, until combined.
  4. Sift all other ingredients together and add to butter and egg mixture.
  5. Mix until smooth and cool in refrigerator for two hours.
  6. Place 2 ounces of mix in the center of a preheated Belgian waffle iron or machine.
  7. Close lid and cook until dough comes loose from the waffle iron.
  8. Remove and let cool.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
