Sambhar For Idli
- 1 cup toor dal
- 1 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- potatoes Cubed - 1
- masala Samabhar, Powder - 2 tsbs
- 2 sauce
- 1 chilli powder
- 2 oil
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 mustard seeds
- 1 seeds
- 1 urad dal
- Boil the Dal until mushy
- Chop onion, tomatoes and potatoes and put them in the pressure cooker for 2 whistles
- Then mix the dal, and the boiled veg together
- Add sambar masala powder, red chilli powder and tamarind sauce
- Bring it to a boil, add salt and coriander
- In a small pan add oil and let it heat,
- Once heated , add the mustard seeds, let them crackle, then add curry leaves, meethi seeds and , urad dal, and add the tadka to the dal.
- Let the sambhar simmer for 10 minutes and serve hot with idlis.
