Mocha Spice Cake
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- Mix flour, soda, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
- Combine sour cream, water, coffee and vanilla.
- Cream butter.
- Gradually beat in sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
- Blend in chocolate. Alternately add flour and sour cream mixtures; beat after each addition until smooth.
- Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
