Chicken And Broccoli Au Gratin
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 tall can Pet milk
- 6 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- Melt butter in skillet.
- Saute onion. Remove from heat.
- Stir in flour, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper. Drain mushrooms reserving liquid.
- Add water to make 1/2 cup liquid.
- Gradually stir into flour mixture.
- Blend in milk until smooth.
- Add mushrooms and cook over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken. Arrange broccoli spears and chicken pieces in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Pour sauce over and top with cheese. Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly around edges.
