Beef, Onion And Haloumi Kebabs

  1. Whisk together red wine, olive oil, mustard and barbecue sauce. Add steak and toss to coat well. Chill for 5-10 mins.
  2. Preheat a grill, frying pan or cast iron griddle over medium heat. Thread steak onto 8 soaked skewers, alternating with red onion and halloumi cheese.
  3. Cook kebabs, basting occasionally, for 4-5 mins per side, or until cooked to your liking. Let rest, covered.
  4. Meanwhile, in a serving bowl, toss together tomatoes, basil, vinegar and mixed greens. Season. Serve kebabs with rice and salad.
