Mixed Green Farro Salad And Fresh Figs
- 4 tablespoons flax oil
- 1 teaspoon pepper crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic dried
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 cups salad leaves chopped mixed green, baby spring mix
- 1 1/2 cups farro cooked
- 3 whole figs
- 1 tablespoon pecans roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
- 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
- In a bowl combine flax oil, crushed pepper, garlic, basil, parsley, salt, lemon juice and mix well and let it stand for few minutes.
- Roughly chop the salad leaves and cut the fresh figs into 4 slices.
- Mix all the salad ingredients in a salad bowl and add the above dressing and mix well so that the salad is well coated with the dressing.
