Cindy'S Four Layer Torte
- 1 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 9 oz. Cool Whip
- 2 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding
- 3 c. milk
- 9 oz. Cool Whip
- chopped nuts
- Blend together flour, 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar, walnuts and margarine.
- Press in bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool.
- Blend cream cheese and 1 cup confectioners sugar until smooth.
- Fold in 9 ounce Cool Whip.
- Spread on first layer.
- Chill. Mix pudding and milk according to package instructions.
- Spread on second layer.
- Chill.
- Top with 9 ounce Cool Whip and sprinkle with some chopped walnuts.
