Chicken Brats & Root Beer Bbq Sauce
- 4 bratwursts chicken
- 4 rolls
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup root beer good
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
- 2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Toss chicken bratwursts with olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes to evenly brown brats.
- Meanwhile make sauce. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring up to a simmer. Simmer till reduced by almost half, about 20 minutes.
- Preheat broiler. Cut rolls in half and brown under broiler, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve brats on buns and drizzle sauce over brat.
