Apple Pie Bites

  1. Place oven rack in the center position. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Open the crescent rolls and separate into 8 triangles. Place dough on a greased cookie sheet, brush with butter and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on individual piece of dough
  3. Roll up an apple slice in the dough forming a crescent, brush with melted butter and top with cinnamon. Repeat for others.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  5. While apple pie bites are baking, combine the confectioner's sugar, vanilla flavoring, and milk in a plastic sandwich bag. Squeeze out the air. Seal. Squish the bag to mix the ingredients until smooth.
  6. Remove cookie sheet from oven using oven mitts and place on cooking rack. Make a tiny cut across 1 corner of sand bag using kitchen shears. Squeeze a zigzag pattern over each pastry.
  7. Eat and enjoy (Filling will be hot!) Makes 8 pies.
