Braised Pork Chops With Shallots And Pear

  1. Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Toss the pears with lemon juice and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a flameproof dish on high heat. Brown the pork chops for 2 mins each side. Remove from the dish. Add the shallots to the dish and cook for 3 mins. Add the garlic and sage and cook for a 1 min.
  3. Add the stock and pears and bring to a boil. Season.
  4. Roast in oven for 10 mins. Add the pork chops and roast for 10 mins more, until cooked through. Serve with mashed sweet potatoes.
