Pretzel Salad
- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 9 oz. whipped topping
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
- Mix pretzels, sugar and butter in bowl.
- Press into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 6 minutes.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Combine cream cheese and confectioners sugar in mixer bowl; beat until smooth.
- Blend in whipped topping.
- Spread over crust.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water in bowl.
- Stir in strawberries.
- Chill until partially set.
- Spoon over cream cheese layer.
- Chill until set.
- Yield: 15 servings.
