Caramel Praline Brownies

  1. Melt caramels with milk, stirring often.
  2. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  3. Blend thoroughly sugar, flour, cocoa and soda; set aside.
  4. Mix melted butter and eggs.
  5. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and stir just until smooth.
  6. Spread batter into pan and bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven for 20 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove from oven and gently pour melted caramels over brownies. Sprinkle pecans over top.
  8. Return to oven and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
  9. Do not overbake.
  10. Makes about 2 dozen 2 x 2-inch brownies.
