Rice Dressing

  1. Prepare chicken broth by combining water and bouillon cubes; simmer.
  2. Brown sausage and beef.
  3. Add onion and pepper, cooking until clear.
  4. Add simmered broth, gravy mix, sugar and garlic cloves; stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  5. Cook down to a gravy consistency.
  6. Remove garlic cloves; mash, then return to mixture. Combine with cooked rice.
  7. Add onion tops and parsley prior to serving.
