Busy Person Stroganoff
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- 1 lb. ground round
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. lite sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. poppy seed
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- Cook noodles.
- In large skillet, cook meat and onions in butter or margarine until meat is brown and onions are transparent, stirring to cook evenly.
- Add flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
- Cook for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Add soup; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Lower heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 12 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Drain noodles and stir in poppy seed and 1 tablespoon butter.
- Serve meat over noodles.
