Maple And Dates Grains/ No Flour / Gluten Free
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup flaxseed
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 cup oats
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 12 dates or less
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil melted
- 3 tbsp. Psyllium (natural-organic grocery store or on the internet)
- 1 cup water
- Mix together all the seeds and psyllium.
- In a bowl, whisk the water, maple syrup and melted coconut oil, then add it to the dry seed mixture.
- Pour the batter into a cake pan and insert the dates in the inside.
- Let it stand for about two hours so the chia and psyllium absorb the water and form a compact substance.
- If you find the mixture a little dry, add 1 or 2 more tablespoons of water.
- Preheat oven to 175u0b0C and bake it for about 20 minutes.
- Remove the bread from the pan, turn it over and bake it for another 35 minutes.
- Let cool.
- You may also cut it into slices and freeze if you won't eat it immediately.
