Tortellini All Forno

  1. In large saucepan, stir together butter, ham and mushrooms. Heat about 3 minutes.
  2. Add cream and stir.
  3. Make sure it does not stick.
  4. Three to five minutes before tortellini is done, add flour and water.
  5. These 2 items make the thickening sauce.
  6. Add Parmesan or Romano.
  7. If mixture is too thick, add milk or white wine.
  8. Use 2 individual Corning-type casserole dishes (6 inch deep x 12 inches in diameter), square or round.
  9. Layer, starting with sauce, tortellini, sprinkle of cheese and 1 slice of Provolone.
  10. Repeat, for a total of 2 layers.
  11. Cook at 350u0b0 for about 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  12. Makes 2 healthy Italian servings.
  13. Serve with tossed salad and garlic bread.
