Flat Iron Steak With Porcini Sauce

  1. Preheat griddle, season steaks with salt and pepper, and coat with EVOO. Cook for 10 min turning only 1 time - transfer to a cutting board and let rest
  2. Meanwhile heat 2 tbsp EVOO over med-high heat. Stir in shallots and garlic and cook for 2 min; season with salt and lots of pepper. Add ketchup, beef stock, worocestershire, vinegar, sugar and mushrooms.
  3. Bring to a boil and lower heat to simmer for 20 min - Puree mixer with immersion blendernnTop the steaks with sauce
