Hamburger Mac & Cheese

  1. In a pot make elbow macaroni per box instructions. Once the macaroni is made set aside. Cook the pasta to the al dente point.
  2. Use the same pot pour in 1 tbs of olive oil, the garlic, ground beef, diced tomato, onions, water, tomato sauce, chili pepper, sea salt & pepper, over high heat. It'll take about 15 minutes for the ground beef to cook thoroughly. Pour out any excess liquid into a larger pot.
  3. In that larger pot pour in the rest of the olive oil, oregano, 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, sea salt & pepper over medium heat.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees at this point
  5. Chop up the block of cheddar cheese into blocks (set aside about 1/3 or less for the end).
  6. Once the tomato sauce is heated throw in the cheddar cheese blocks into the pot, consistently stirring to avoid sticking.
  7. When the sauce is smooth & chunk less, mix in beef & the macaroni. Turn the stove off & mix.
  8. Transfer the mac & cheese to an oven safe tray, top with the remainder of the cheddar cheese & add grated Parmesan.
  9. Leave this in the oven until the top layer of cheese has melted & has a nice golden brown coat.
