Cinnamon Butter Braid

  1. Make the dough first.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. Stir in milk and olive oil unit a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough then shape it into a ball. Cover dough with bowl for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 F/175 C.
  5. Roll dough into a square/rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter all over the dough. Then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  7. Roll the dough up sushi style!
  8. Cut it down the middle. Hot dog style.
  9. Braid it by twisting the two piece around each other. Make sure layers are exposed!
  10. Place on parchment paper or oiled non-stick pan. Brush on egg wash.
  11. Bake for 35-40 minutes till golden.
  12. Make the chocolate topping.
  13. Heat the chocolate slowly and mix in heavy whipping cream each time you take it out of microwave.
  14. Eventually should be a smooth chocolate topping.
  15. Put on fresh topping on warm braid and done!
