Dried Cranberry And Apple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. In a small saucepan, simmer the dried cranberries, cinnamon stick and the apple juice for 10 minutes. Drain the cranberries and remove cinnamon stick.
  3. In a small bowl, blend the flour, brown sugar, salt and the butter until mixture resembles coarse meal; toss the mixture well.
  4. Peel, core and slice apples thin and in a buttered 13 x 9-inch glass dish.
  5. Toss them with the cranberries.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the apples and cranberries.
  7. Bake the Crisp in the oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Serves 6.
