Cottage Cheese And Figs Tureen
- 5 dried figs
- 2/3 figs fresh
- 2 cottage cheese light
- cream 5 cl.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- Soak the dried figs in a bowl with warm water.
- Rinse the fresh figs and slice carefully. Place the figs on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
- In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese with a fork. Mix in the cream and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain the figs and cut into pieces.
- Line a ramekin with plastic wrap.
- Cover the bottom of the ramekin with a layer of the cheese mixture pressing well.
- Cover the cheese with a layer of dried figs and again with cheese mixture and so on. Place the ramekin in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Turn tureen out onto a plate, cover with fresh fig slices and serve immediately.
