Finger Drumsticks

  1. Cut off tips of wings and discard.
  2. Divide each wing in half by cutting through joint with a sharp knife.
  3. Place in a single layer
  4. on
  5. broiler pan rack.
  6. Bake in hot oven (400u0b0), turning once, 30 minutes.
  7. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger and pepper in a small saucepan; stir in water, lemon juice and soy
  8. sauce. Cook,
  9. stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils 3 minutes.
  10. Brush part over chicken wings.
  11. Continue baking, turning and
  12. brushing
  13. several
  14. times
  15. with
  16. remaining lemon mixture, 40 minutes
  17. or until richly glazed.
  18. When ready to serve, place in a chafing
  19. dish or keep hot server.
  20. Makes 12 servings.
