Double Chocolate Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water.
  4. Bring just to a boil, then remove from heat. Add 6 ounces (1 cup) Nestle semi-sweet real chocolate morsels and vanilla extract.
  5. Stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large bowl.
  6. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  7. Gradually blend in flour mixture.
  8. Stir in remaining 1 cup Nestle semi-sweet real chocolate morsels and the nuts.
  9. Spread into greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  10. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Cut into 2 1/4-inch squares.
  13. Makes 16 (2 1/4-inch) squares.
