Fruited Sweet Sour Pork

  1. Melt butter and saute meat until brown.
  2. Drain pineapple, reserve juice.
  3. Combine juice, Russian dressing, water, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and salt.
  4. Pour over meat and stir until thick.
  5. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, until meat is tender.
  6. Add green peppers, onions and pineapple.
  7. Cook about 5 minutes and serve over hot cooked rice.
