Chau Chau Rice
- 1 cup rice grain
- 2 cups hot water
- 1/2 deciliter olive oil
- 1 cup peas
- 2 eggs
- 1 knob butter
- 1 slice bacon 0.5 cm thick
- corn optional
- Stir the rice in olive oil for 5 minutes and then add hot water.
- Season with salt and cook over low heat.
- However, cook the peas and corn separately in salted water.
- When the vegetables are cooked, strain the water and set aside.
- Beat the eggs.
- Put the knob of butter into a non-stick frying pan, add the eggs and keep stirring .
- Set aside the scrambled eggs.
- Cut the bacon into small cubes and saute them in a frying pan.
- When the rice is cooked, rinse it with cold water to loosen it a bit and mix the vegetables, bacon and scrambled eggs.
- Wrap carefully as to avoid breaking the rice.
