Chau Chau Rice

  1. Stir the rice in olive oil for 5 minutes and then add hot water.
  2. Season with salt and cook over low heat.
  3. However, cook the peas and corn separately in salted water.
  4. When the vegetables are cooked, strain the water and set aside.
  5. Beat the eggs.
  6. Put the knob of butter into a non-stick frying pan, add the eggs and keep stirring .
  7. Set aside the scrambled eggs.
  8. Cut the bacon into small cubes and saute them in a frying pan.
  9. When the rice is cooked, rinse it with cold water to loosen it a bit and mix the vegetables, bacon and scrambled eggs.
  10. Wrap carefully as to avoid breaking the rice.
