Country Pork Chops

  1. Brown
  2. chops in margarine in 12-inch Dutch oven and set aside. Spread
  3. rice in Dutch oven with salt and pepper.
  4. Save 1 tablespoontf
  5. onion
  6. soup mix and spread the rest over the rice. Drain
  7. mushrooms,taving the liquid.
  8. Spread mushrooms over the rice and soup mix.tdd enough hot water to mushroom liquid to make 3 cups.
  9. Pour over the rice mix. Put chops over rice
  10. mix. Sprinkle
  11. saved
  12. portion
  13. of
  14. soup mix, apples and onion
  15. over chops.
  16. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes.
  17. Remove lid and cook for 10 minutes more or until liquid is gone.
