Snickers Cake
- 3/4 cup butter
- 9/16 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2/3 cups caster sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 cups plain flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 6 tablespoons semi-skimmed milk
- 6 7/8 cups snickers bars mini, halved
- icing sugar for dusting
- Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F.
- Grease a 10-inch round cake pan and sprinkle with flour.
- Beat the butter, peanut butter, vanilla extract, sugar and a pinch of salt with an electric mixer. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Gradually add flour mixture into the egg mixture, alternating with the milk, until all are incorporated. Fold in the Snickers.
- Spoon into the baking pan and bake for 50-55 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 mins, then turn out on to a wire rack and allow to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar.
