Shrimp And Chorizo Gumbo

  1. In a Dutch oven, melt the butter and add the flour to it. Lower the heat and stir constantly until the mixture turns golden.
  2. Add the onion, celery, and okra. After a few minutes, add the parsley. Stir everything together.
  3. Add the chorizo and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
  4. Add the fish stock and simmer for another 20 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp, salt and pepper to taste, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. You can serve as is or over steamed white rice.
