Bittersweet Sauce With Homemade Nuggets

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, lemon juice, bay leaves and squeezed garlic.
  2. Leave them for a few minutes.
  3. Pass the chicken pieces through the beaten egg and then to the breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden.
  5. Leave to drain on paper towels.
  6. For the sweet and sour sauce just add all the ingredients, bring to a low heat and stir until it thickens.
  7. Serve the chicken with the sauce to accompany it.
