Fried Octopus Titbits
- 500 grams pre-cooked octopus
- 1 onion medium
- parsley stalks to taste
- 4 eggs
- 2 3/8 cups flour
- 6 3/4 tablespoons milk
- 7/8 cup water
- salt
- pepper
- lemon juice
- oil to taste
- Start by cutting the octopus into small pieces.
- Reserve.
- Mince the onion and sprigs of parsley very well and add the octopus.
- In a large bowl beat the eggs.
- Then add the milk and beat again.
- Continue adding the flour and water alternately.
- Beat well until smooth.
- Finally add the octopus previously put on standby with the onion and parsley.
- Season it with salt and a pinch of pepper.
- Let the mixture rest while the oil heats.
- The codfish fritters should be fried with spoonfuls into abundant and hot oil.
- When they are golden brown, remove and place on absorbent paper.
- Serve it with a very sprouty bean rice!
