Fusilli With Chicken, Ham And Croutons
- 300 grams fusilli pasta
- olive oil to taste
- 1/2 onion medium, or 1 small one
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 chicken breasts small cubes
- salt to taste
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 4 slices ham
- 1 1/2 cups croutons homemade, optional
- black olives to taste
- Cook fusilli pasta according to directions. When done, refresh under cold water. Place in a serving bowl.
- In the meanwhile, heat a smidgen of olive oil in a frying pan, add onion and garlic, and cook until onion is translucent.
- Add the chicken, and cook until well browned, adjusting the seasoning with a little bit of salt and lemon juice.
- Add some of the ham slices cut in chunks, and scatter with some croutons. Mix.
- To serve, garnish with remaining ham, croutons, and olives.
