Chicken Masala
- 1 1/8 pounds chicken fillet
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 onions fresh
- 25 teaspoons masala powder
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 2 tablespoons cooking cream light
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- coriander for garnish
- Cut chicken fillet into pieces (~3cm).
- Cut tomatoes and onions into cubes.
- Season chicken with 1 tsp masala powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tbsp water within 5 mins.
- Heat the pan, pour in the melted butter.
- Stir-fried tomatoes and onions in butter. Season with 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- Add the seasoned chicken into the pan and stir well until the chicken is cooked.
- Season with 1 tsp chili powder and 1 tsp masala powder.
- Reduce the heat and slow cook in 15 more mins.
- Add cream. Stir well.
- All done. Off the gas. Use coriander for garnish.
