German Chocolate Bundt Cake
- 4 ounces sweet baking chocolate
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup butter softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar sifted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the chocolate and water in a pan and cooknver low heat until the chocolate is melted.
- Beat your sugar and butter until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla until combined.neat on medium speed for one minute.
- Beat in the melted chocolate. Add the buttermilk and flour mixture alternatelyno the mix until combined.
- Pour batter into your pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from oven, take a toothpick around thendge of the cake, and let cool.
- Make your frosting by creaming the butter,nntil it is fluffy. Add the powdered sugar,nhocolate, milk and vanilla.nix together.
- Make the coconut pecan frosting by putting your egg,nvaporated milk, sugar and butter. Cook for 12 minutesnver medium heat until thick.
- Remove from heat and stir in the coconut and the pecans.nover and let cool.
- Pipe chocolate frosting on the cake and top it withnhe chocolate pecan frosting.narnish with a pecan half
