Savory Bites
- 1 5/8 cups flour
- 5 15/16 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 5 3/8 tablespoons milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 3/4 ounces mortadella or any cold cut you prefer
- 1 3/4 ounces emmentaler or any cheese you prefer
- salt and ground black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Place the eggs in the the mixer and mix for 10 seconds, then add the oil, mix for a few seconds more.
- Add the flour sifted with the baking powder, the grated Parmesan cheese, the salt, and the pepper. The batter will be creamy.
- Place half of the batter in a deep baking pan lined with wax paper.
- Then add the bologna and the emmentaler and cover with the remaining batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cool.
