Homemade Cereal Bars
- 3 cups of low fat cereal of your choice
- 2-3 tablespoons of either honey or low fatjam
- 1 eggwhite
- sprinkle cinnamon (optional)
- berries or banana to top off (optional)
- Add the 3 cups of cereal of your choice in a bowl
- Add the 2-3 tablespoons of honey or low fat jam (whichever you prefer) in a separate bowl.
- Put the bowl with the honey or low fat jam in the microwave for 30 seconds for a more liquid substance
- Incorporate the egg white to the bowl with the honey or low fat and mix.
- Add the bowl with incorporated egg white and honey/low fat jam to the bowl with the cereal.
- Mix the mixture well.
- Once well mixed sprinkle cinamon (optional)
- Add the mixture into a oven-safe rectangular platter (TIP: place parchment paper to the platter to serve the cereal bars easily)
- Add berries or slices of banana on top to aid to the cereal bar's flavor (optional
- Place the platter into the oven on low-mid temp
- Take the platter from the oven and cut the desired size of the cereal bars. Let them cool and serve :)
