Baked Honey Chicken
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 garlic crushed or diced cloves of
- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
- 5 tablespoons honey
- Combine all the ingredients except the chicken. Make sure to mix well. If you dont have rice vinegar you can sub it with 3/4 white vinegar, 1/4 water, and 1/4 tsp of sugar.
- Take half the marinade and pour it in a ziploc bag with the chicken. Let it sit for an hour or so in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 425. Take the chicken out and lay it on a foil-covered 9x13 pan. Toss the marinade.
- Cook the other half of the marinade on medium high until it turns saucy. Brush some of the sauce on the chicken.
- Place the chicken in the oven and after 10 min, take it out and brush more sauce. The chicken should bake for about 30 min total.
- Take the chicken out and brush the remaining sauce. You may have to reheat the sauce to make sure it stays saucy and not gooey.
